First registered and collected from the Maserati factory in 1994 by the Honorary Secretary of the Maserati Club, this Ghibli has been meticulously cared for, it has a full service history with supporting documentation, invoices and receipts totaling over £28,000. The last cambelt change was at 44,635 miles at which time it also had the timing chains replaced. The original suede folder containing the handbook, service book, alarm and Alpine hi-fi guides are also included.
It has recently undergone a re-furbishment of it’s bodywork with a full re-spray and now looks absolutely stunning. The engine and gearbox are in full working order, there is no exhaust smoke either on start-up or when warm, it drives straight and true and the turbos offer up the bullet-like acceleration that these cars are renowned for.
There are two issues that require attention; the heater fan has stopped working, the heater and air-con are working fine, it’s just the fan that has stopped, and the boot catch doesn’t always close properly. It probably just needs some adjustment, the fan is a standard item also used on the Biturbo models so they are easy to source.
